Paste two genomic sequences (~100kb each) from any mammal. We'll tell you if it's kosher โ using snake DNA signatures.
๐ฌ Sample 1 โ paste FASTA or raw sequence (A/C/G/T)
Minimum 50,000 bp required. ~100,000 bp recommended.
๐ฌ Sample 2 โ different genomic region
Minimum 50,000 bp. Different chromosome or location.

BovB/L1 ratio
How does this work?
Every mammalian genome contains transposable elements โ "jumping genes" that copy themselves across chromosomes.
BovB is a snake-origin element transferred horizontally to ruminants ~50 million years ago.
L1 is the universal mammalian LINE element.
Torah-kosher ruminants (sheep, cow, goat) have a BovB/L1 ratio near 1.0 โ a unique equilibrium.
Non-kosher mammals have ratios near 0 (no BovB) or far from unity.
We scan your sequence for diagnostic 22-mer signatures from BovB and L1 consensus sequences.
5,862 BovB markers + 11,072 L1 markers โ zero overlap.

Not a halachic ruling. For actual kashrut questions, consult your rabbi.
Requires real genomic data (FASTA from NCBI/Ensembl). Random text won't work.
